As a further improvement on the Dimension Allowed Values Filter functionaltiy, I have this suggestion.
Enable the Allowed Values Filter functionality even if the dimension Value Posting field is blank.
It is not always applicable for 'code mandatory' to be used. Users would still want the filter restriction rules to be in effect when the dimension is used in an optional manner at data input time.
