In short there should not be so many steps in deleting an employee. GDPR requires many to delete employee data after a certain point of time. Atm deleting employees requires a lot of administration due to its many steps.
There a suggestion would to be
1) to be able to set a HR parameter that decides after what period of time the employee data should be deleted when the employee is terminated. E.g. if a employee has a termination date of 21/11-2020 and the parameters is set to a five years expiration period, the data should be deleted automatically on the 21/11-2025.
2) Terminating employees should be release from their dependencies and their data should to some extend be anonymized until deleted. E.g. in position history the name or person ID can be viewed but is not dependent.

This is key for us as the process it far to time consuming and manual

I would fully support this suggestion as we have 200-300 leavers per year and this being a manual task is very time consuming
