On the grids, we should be able to represent data with dynamic color, changing according to status of the record. may be with icons such as traffic lights.
The use case is, we have high priority cases, they should be red in the grid, or we have opportunites or activities where due date is less than a month, they should be yellow on the grid.
the other use case is,
if the customer is in an important segment, the case form color changes to red, or some part of it changes to red to represent to the agent that , she/he is talking with a customer in X segment. etc.
