Project Operation will not synchronize the closed project status to FO.

Projects are integrated to F&O with the fixed "InProcess" stage value and this value does not get changed when project gets closed in Project Operation. And it causes that the project is closed in PO\CE, but in FO is still open. And there is no option to set the Project as Finished in F&O also if the company is integrated to CE.

Need the ability to synchronize the project status to FO.

This can be achieved by creating an updated version of the Projects V2 dual-write map

Also voted. Either something is synchronised or it isn't, there's no half-way house. If the status (or anything, in fact) changes in one system, it must also change in the other, else you have two sources of the truth.

Its great that we can integrate the dataverse with the F&O but there are so many holes that need to be tidied up. This is an issue and should be sorted already. Closed in the Dataverse then Finished in F&O otherwise provide manual way to perform this in F&O at least

I agree this is not the desirable behaviour, since it allows users to post transactions even after the project is closed and it is not possible at all to close the project in F&O when Dual Write is enabled.

There was no reason to deprecate this feature in a connected environment.

Project Status is helpful not just for reporting but also for Rev Rec and controlling a project.
