Prices are searched in trade agreements based on date on purchase order and from-to date on trade agreement. In the general procurement parameters can be defined the valid price is taken from the trade agreement based on order date or delivery date of the purchase order line.

When order date is selected, the valid price from trade agreement is taken based on the date adding the item to the purchase order line.

When option ‘delivery date’ is selected, price is taken from the trade agreement based on the delivery date of the purchase order line. The condition is that the new prices for the future are already available in D365F&O.

There is only 1 general parameter to define what date is used, the purchase price or the delivery date. Why is this not available on vendor-level as this depends on agreements with the vendor instead of generally defined?

Customer request is A functionality must be available that searches for prices in the trade agreement based on different date type (delivery date or today), depending on vendor or any setup at the vendor level.
