System Should not allow to enter the Tax Value in the GST Set Up when no other variable like HSN/SAC Code/ Tax Rate Type etc is selected. If a user by mistake just enters the Tax Rate in the Tax Set Up, System picks up that Rate against the HSN/SAC Code which is selected during the Transaction but for which no Tax Rate is defined which leads to wrong Tax Amount calculation. Therefore, system should not allow just to enter the Tax Rate without entering any other Variable along with this. This should neither be allowed while we are doing Tax Set Up manually nor it should be allowed while we are using the Import Utility for Tax Rate Set Up.

Yes, this is very much needed feature. As the feature related to Precise lookup conditions in the tax rate that provide us functionality to search the tax rates for more specific SAC/HSN e.g If different rate is defined for SAC 981831 and also for *Not Blank*. Previously system do not differentiate between these two and picks the rate which it lookups first. After enabling the feature, we were able to differentiate these two, and GTE precisely picking the correct rate as mentioned against the particular SAC (981831).

But above mentioned feature could not help us when there are blank SAC/HSN or other variables, not to pick the rate mentioned in the line.
As per the idea given above, there must be some validation that should prevent the user from saving the tax rates without mentioning other lookup conditions. This feature should be brought by Microsoft for both manual setup and also for the uploading funtionality.
