When using the customer search on CPOS/MPOS, the search strings entered are handled as OR-conditions. E.g. you search for 'Stadium' and 'Houston', you will get all Stadiums and customers located in Houston. Hence the list of results is getting longer - instead of becoming shorter.
The suggestion is to handle search queries as AND-conditions instead of handling them as OR-conditions. Please implement search Operators like 'AND', '&' or '+' to narrow down the search results returned.

Our Electronics retailer wants to search exactly the same: by name and city, for example 'Mark Zurich', current 'search by fields' functionality does not really help in this

Thanks for your suggestion. We are working on enhancing the customer search to allow the cashiers to easily search within a single field of their choice e.g. name, email, phone number etc. which will result in more relevant search results.
