We have customers that request delivery dates for our manufactured product. Sales works with the customers delivery request and our teams realistic, reasonable date of completion and delivery.

The Customer may call and change that requested delivery date OR we may have a production issue that delays the requested delivery date.

We use the requested delivery date to drive production. Dates go out 3 weeks or so. Dates change and we use the requested delivery date to plan for production.

YES, we have visibility from reports and BC filter reports. Sometime cumbersome.

Why not create an API or data connection to Planner from the delivery date options. We use requested delivery date.

Wouldn't that be cool to have the dates update in the Planner product. If a date is changed, it updates the Planner Calendar

Sales would be communicating with the customer and changing dates in the BC Sales orders. This change would update the Planner Calander. Production could use Planner app on the floor see the requested delivery date changes. Or use Planner in the morning to set the production agenda or use Planner to map out the weekly production schedule or use Planner to map out the month.
