Amazon has very strict requirements for loads, documentation, and labeling of product for all shipments going to an Amazon warehouse. Carrier requests must be put in prior to processing orders and would need the exact number of pallets, cases on pallets, volume , weight and which load they will be on for the request to be made. There needs to be a way to palletize an order before any warehouse processing (waving, work completion, etc.) and have loads be automatically built based on those pallets. Once released to the warehouse, work creation must match the palletization and loads that were created. Also, the labels need to be printed before the work is completed so that the workers can label each carton as they are picking.

Current base functionality doesn't support these requirements

There is no capability of putting weight, volume or dimensions on a product variant so load planning for product masters is wrong. Once that is fixed, then the documentation needs become real for those customers using product masters with versions or variants.
