In our CRM application that's accessed via the Outlook client, it's not unusual to have 3-5 CRM windows open ata time. Business testers accidentally close the Outlook window on a daily basis. They ask me, "Microsoft asks Are You Sure for everything else, why not for this?" This application will be rolled out to 350 users. My suggestion is to make one of the following changes in Outlook (for which I have no access to submit feedback):

1) Change existing confirmation message (that deleted messages will be permanently deleted) to include closing Outlook and deleted messages being permanently deleted, and have the Cancel button prevent Outlook from closing.
OR
2) Add a setting/option that's unchecked by default, whereby a user can choose to be prompted when closing Outlook.

Thanks for your suggestion. We are strongly considering this scenario for next release. We do support office 2010 for V4 in WOW mode (UR7 onwards). WOW mode runs 32 bit office 2010 on 64 bit W7. Some of the reasons that block our ability to support 64 bit office include lack of support at SQL Express 2005 level at the time of release.
