We have android devices that are controlled via Intune. Also the android devices have the work user syncronized.
What we need is, when we click on the Business Central APK, make the autologin with zero touch. Depending on the user has access they conect automatically to that place. It means that, if the user has only access to a sandbox. It connects automatically to that sandbox. With the data provided of company portal or edge browser.
Cause I see, if we connect to business central it can connect automatically with the user account on the edge browser, but it doesn't happend the same on the APK.
Is there any option or guide to make it automatically on the APK to make the autologin.
We are currently managing our Android devices through Microsoft Intune, and each device is fully enrolled with a work profile. Users are signed in with their corporate accounts, which are synchronized across the Company Portal, Microsoft Edge, and Authenticator.
Our goal is to enable a zero-touch login experience when launching the Business Central APK. Ideally, the app should automatically authenticate the user based on their Intune-managed identity—without prompting for credentials—just as it does when accessing Business Central via the Edge browser.
Additionally, we would like the app to automatically connect to the appropriate environment (e.g., sandbox or production) based on the user’s access rights.
Currently, while the browser version supports seamless login, the APK still prompts for the user’s email address. We would like to know:
- Is there a supported method or configuration to enable full SSO in the Business Central Android app?
- Are there any official guidelines or best practices to achieve this behavior?
We appreciate any guidance or documentation you can provide.
Best regards,
