Scenario; There is no stock of a CW item yet. There is small batch order to produce less than a full pallet. When reporting as finished the planned CW item with the planned CW quantity and a weight which is more than nominal (based on that planned CW quantity), the system throws an error that there is not enough stock.

MS support is stating that this is behaviour 'By design'. Apparently it performs a check on the on-hand inventory of the produced item before the posting is done.

This is blocking our customer from reporting as finished specific small batch orders in a proper way and in my opinion this design should be reviewed and changed somehow.
