It would also be nice if the Business Unit Filter could be added to the Account Schedules Page.
For companies who are using or plan to use the consolidation functionality in business central, it is helpful/important to be able to see this data. This helps with understanding where the data came from and filtering the data (if desired/applicable).
Perhaps the best way to do this would be to have a way to denote a company on the general ledger setup as a "Consolidation Company" and then this information would appear on the pages.
Having a way to denote the company would be nice because for normal non-consolidation companies they do not need to see nor do they care about seeing the business units because they aren't applicable.

Why is there no option to add the Business Unit field onto a IC General Journal? (ie this field is not available on the personalisation field list)I have a consolidated balance sheet, with the entity by entity analysis against it, with 4 companies. The (ordinary) general journal has the Business Unit field available. If I post a two line journal: (say Line 1 Cr TR Drs -10000 Business Unit Entity 1) (Line 2 Dr TR Crs 10000 Business Unit Entity 2)The total consolidated balances of Trade Debtors and Trade Creditors are reduced by 10000,but the balances of the Trade debtors for Entity 1 and the Trade creditors for Entity 2 remain unchanged.

How did this get missed in moving to BC from NAV on premise??? We cant see Business Unit on General Ledger Entries in the Consolidation Company. This should be a given.
This does not 'need votes', it just needs to be added. At least in the personalization fields. Crazy !
