Currently D365 does not allow a location directive to be set up for work order type "Quality order" where the strategy is "Consolidate". When implementing quality orders for warehouse processes, most clients want to simply put the material into storage once the quality order passes. Many clients also want to consolidate on put-away so that the same items are stored in the same location. Normal flow would be inbound material from PO or production goes to quality and then from quality into storage. Since "Consolidate" is allowed for PO put-away and finished goods put-away from production, it would make sense for this to also be allowed on work of type "Quality order". To get around this currently, we have to put material away to a staging location and then do a directed movement so that "Consolidate" can be used. If quality order work could be auto-completed, then this would be a good workaround, but it can't be auto-completed, so the client is forced to execute a separate pick-put to get the strategy they want for put-away.
