The FEFO batch reservation strategy for replenishment is missing. It should be implemented in the same way as the FEFO batch reservation for the sales order work order type in the location directive actions.

Hi.

Any update on this idea? This is highly needed functionality for many of our clients in retail/wholesale industry to replenish based on FEFO

This idea is from 2017 and under review, can we have an update on it please?

Hi

do we have know when this is scheduled to be available

There is a workaround, a bit lumpy, but it works. Add a sort criteria on batch / expiry date, also add a filter criteria on batch expiration date e.g. (greaterThanDate(365)). We use this for a customer who has a directly delivery intercompany setup. The end customer is in a different legal entity to where the inventory is held, thus we need to use this workaround for customer sellable days...

In a Glass Manufacturing Company in Egypt, it is causing troubles. And the workaround is not fulfilling.

I believe that the development of this option is going to solve the case so I placed my upvote, please consider our concern and business pain.

Thank you

Including the possibility to ignore expired batches for any replenishment, and for wave demand replenishment to consider sales order receipt date and customer sellable days when considering which expiry dates are suitable.

Placed an upvote, this is indeed a common scenario in food industry.

There is a workaround for FEFO replenishment, but it does not respect expired batches.

In the food sector, it is mostly the FEFO approach which is used, rather than the FIFO.  Having this strategy on replenishment will ensure a better management of stocks.
