Many organisations have one or more legal entities and wish to consolidate procurement. However purchase requisitions assume that there is no stock held within the company, that all requests must be met by purchase orders. It would be useful to enable an internal request for an item or procurement category that could go to a central team, who would then either ship the goods to the user's location from their central warehouse or place an order for it. An example of this might be uniforms, or marketing material, which are ordered and stored centrally and then drawn down by internal users or departments.

A central request - fulfilled by procurement, transfer from central wh, reservation in local wh or production order should improve the usability of D365F&O.

Most other "Big" ERP vendors does have this. So this is a real requirement. Also with MS locking certain objects (enums etc.) inside D365 void older ISV solutions. Add to this how we have to dance around this issue in sales cycles. Joy :-(

Requisitions for Consumption should allow to be used for this purpose. There could be an option to pull for current inventory if available.

This could also be from a local warehouse
