The Simplified bank statement import file wizard has been implemented and it can handle and automatically handle text files.
It would be great to to the same thing with XML files. There is already a part of code in the Base App that could be used as a starting base: "Data Exchange Definition" -> "Column Definitions" -> Manage -> "Get File structure".
