We are currently automating the creation of key RTM entities such as Emails, Segments, Segment Definitions and Journeys.

These entities are programmatically created as part of our Event Post-Create synchronous plugin, using the following naming convention:

"[Event Name] [Event Start Date] [Region] [Additional Information]"

This naming format helps us keep everything organized and makes it easier to track. However, the names are sometimes longer than the system allows. Right now, we’re limited by the following character limits:

Email : 100 chars

Segment : 100 chars

Segment Definition : 100 chars

Journey : 150 chars

Because of these limits, we’re forced to shorten names, which results in reduced clarity.

Please increase the name field length to 300 characters or more for all of these items: Email, Segment, Segment Definition and Journey

If increasing to 300 characters isn’t possible, we kindly request to increase at least 200 characters to help reduce issues with name truncation.

This limitation is impacting us to maintain descriptive and unique naming. We rely on clear and complete names to keep everything running smoothly especially automation.
