The October 2019 update of the Dynamics 365 licensing options is still not reflected in the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations security permissions.
For example, a security permission would list the required license type as "Operations" as opposed to "Finance" or "Supply Chain" or "Human Resource" or "Commerce."
This will cause client and SI confusion when creating security roles and acquiring licenses to suddenly discover that something commonly understood to be a Finance task (for example, maintaining purchase orders) now requires a Supply Chain attach license.
There is also no documentation that explicitly states what each license type covers; the current Licensing Guide is at a role level, not duty or privilege, and few organizations use the stock security roles in the system.
