Hello MS team,
In current system, It's been observed that when Production order is created, system does not get Location which is already defined on BOM line for the item. Below is the process summary for your reference.
- We have a product which is not enabled for the advanced warehouse processes.
- We have defined BOM for FG items in our environment and the locations have been specified for each line.
- When Production order is created, system does not get the Location which is defined on BOM.
- When we verify the inventory transactions, system automatically reserve items against another location where the inventory is available.

Quite logical, if location is defined at BOM lines it should work while consumption rather than selecting the location manually at Production order lines. So, this is basic need and should be incorporated.

I hope MS will focus on it without achieving a number of votes because this issue is somehow like a bug that should be addressed with high priority.
