A very interesting scenario was raised by a partner of ours and included the option for a customer to be able to add a comment in for example Sales Quotas -> Quotas -> Comments, however, to not be able to delete it afterwards.


As far as we are aware this is currently not possible as the Comments Object IDs (44 in our case) are a part of the Default Permission Sets which are currently uneditable in the Permission Set page.


That said, workarounds exist and include creating a copy of the Default Permission set as a flat permission copy, looking up the specific object id and leaving the delete option "blank" instead of "yes", or create an AL extension going over this Object ID and hiding it.


Given the above, I believe it would be a great addition to our product if we can implement an option to change the hierarchy between custom permission sets and default ones or make default permission sets editable in order to ensure full flexibility and optimization to our partners and customers.
