Recently, a new feature for batch jobs was added called 'Active periods for batch jobs'. Currently, the only way of maintaining the active period on a batch is via the batch job form.
It would be very helpful to have the active period available on the dialog when creating a new recurring batch job from a periodic task or run a report in the background. This will save the user from having to navigate to the batch job form separately.
