There is a feature in D365 logging all user role changes. This feature is only active in Estonia due to local requirement. But this is a great feature that should be available to all D365 customer.
Please open EeUserRoleChangeLog to all regions.

I am trying to use database logging for this purpose. It works but is not very clear (e.g. role number is logged instead of its name).
