It should be possible to use Custom Marketing Forms on Events that require a Pass. Currently, if you use Passes on Events, it hides the function to use Custom Marketing Forms. Out of the box, you only have First Name, Last Name and Email Address on the Form.

You can use Custom Registration Fields in this scenario, however, these have zero relationship with the Contact record. If you wanted to use a standard field on the Form e.g. Address: Street 1 you can't do this, you have to use a Custom Registration Field or build a Power Automate flow as a workaround.

Customisation of an Event Portal and the Form which people submit when they register, particularly for a Paid Event should be standard.

We use Marketing Forms instead of the standard event registration forms for a number of reasons, including the ability to capture more details which are mapped to a Lead / Contact; the ability to use lookup / reference data instead of hardcoded values; to have more control over branding; so we can add standard privacy clauses and T&C's so when staff self-serve the setup of an event, there's some consistency. But by using Marketing Forms, we lose some pretty fundamental features which we get out of the box when using standard Event portal pages. One standout is the ability to have the lead select their preferred Pass and make a payment where appropriate). We would also like to see the ability to add passes to an Event Registration Marketing Form, and also collect payment for selected passes.
