Add Movement of Inventory with Associated Work in WHS to Raw material picking

KB number 3192548 introduced the functionality to do location movements for inventory that is reserved to Work. This functionality is available for sales orders, transfer order issue/receipt, PO, and replenishment. This functionality needs to also be available for other types of Picking work, primarily Raw material picking.

This is both useful and critical to clients where material is frequently being relocated to to physical constrains at a warehouse. Cancelling work and re-releasing is inefficient to handling the process. Functionality that supports this request on the sales picking side should be extended to support raw material picking.

Yes, this is absolutely required. When production team decides that they need additional materials, there should be an option create a request - Work for warehousing team to pick and deliver to production facility. Currently it is handled via inventory movements and RM Register, but requesting work would be an ideal option. it can give more details like who and when was it requested with a reason code as well if possible.

Excellent idea! This functionality is extremely useful for our client particularly due to physical constraints of the warehouse which can't be worked around.
