When the user is converting Task to Case - the Customer field, even if it is present in Regarding field on Task, needs to be again filled in conversion dialog. This field should be populating automatically taking the Customer from Task.Regarding.

Thank you for your feedback. This is available in the product today. While converting a task to a case, the customer field gets auto-populated on the case conversion dialog based on the customer selected in the regarding field of the task.
