Many organisations works with suppliers who provides the delivery update such as Shipped quantity, Delivery date via Advance Shipping Notice (ASNs). This is not for organisations which has advance warehousing enabled but for organisations which are working supplier directly via vendor collaboration. Its a key business process for such organisation to give this ability directly to supplier, so that supplier can update these information themselves thus saving organisations time in managing vendor delivery update. ASN then must transform in the either item arrival journal or product receipt for receiving clerk to review and perform the stock registration or receipts.
