The sales order and purchase order screens have a nice feature where you can type in any part of the item number, search name, product name, variant name directly into the item number field and it will suggest items that match any of the criteria. This is configurable on the Search criteria screen. On other screens with the item number field (count journal, transfer journal, inventory adjustment, etc) you must use the filter within the drop down and you can only use one column at a time. It would be nice to have the enhanced search feature on all entry screens where the item number column is available.
