In the Belgium localisation of Dynamics 365 Business Central, page VAT VIES Correction do not contains a column for the Responsibility Centre, so VAT VIES correction amounts are always included in VAT Statement preview/generation even when a Responsibility Centre (Division) filter is applied. In addition, the VAT VIES Correction page lacks a Description/Comment field, meaning users cannot record the reason and context of a correction for audit and internal control purposes.

Proposed improvement:

• Add a Responsibility Centre field to VAT VIES Correction and store it to the related manual VAT correction entries.
• Update VAT Statement preview and generation so Responsibility Centre filters are respected for these corrections.
• Add a Description column on the VAT VIES Correction page and ensure it is stored and visible on the resulting correction entries/lists, so users can document what the correction involves.
