When attempting to pick a work line that can be fulfilled by multiple batches, the system does not allow you to confirm the actual quantity of the batch picked. It forces you to confirm the entire line quantity, even though you are just picking part of the line. Eg. Work line to pick 10 (6 of BatchA & 4 of BatchB) in the location. The mobile device makes you confirm a pick for 10 of BatchA and depletes the entire 6. It then says, you have 4 more to pick. Therefore, there is no way to pick 5 of 4 of batchA.

You need to be able to confirm the actual quantity picked by batch.

This must be available as a standard.

By default this should be made available, an important suggestion from the Consulting Group which MS should consider at the earliest.

This must be available as standard. We're getting a lot of discrepancies in the counts, all due to this scenario.

In the above scenario the user should be picking 10 but is having to confirm 14 in total on the screen. There is significant potential that users will pick 14 rather than 10 leading to over picks and stock discrepancies.

I have also encountered this issue

System directs us to pick 50 of one batch, and 100 of another batch, but it does not say which batch we should be picking, it just says 'pick 150'. The system should present 'Pick 100 of BATCH A' then 'Pick 50 of BATCH B'. We are using 'batch below reservation', and there is no facility to specify which batch we should be picking. The system says 'Suggested Batch' on the details of the pick, but does not show it on the front page.

Picker needs some indication on the gun of what batch they should be picking. If the system says pick 100 of batch A and 50 of batch B, and the picker picks 50 of batch A, then the system won't let them specify how many they are picking, it puts in the full quantity of 150, and does not let us specify. We have batch confirmation set up, and the system confirms the full quantity of the batch, even if that's not what we've actually picked.

Last sentence should read: Therefore, there is no way to pick just 5 of Batch A. It will always deplete the full quantity of the batch (in this case 6) causing picking errors.
