Recently, we implemented a project operation system that involves both CE and FO for a customer. In the project, we encountered an issue in which OOTB project start and end date columns in FO are in date format while the corresponding columns in CE are in date time format. This caused an annoying date time dual-write synchronization between FO and CE. We suggest allowing FO columns to be stored as date time format to prevent discrepancies between two systems.
