On occasion production jobs cannot be run on the original scheduled resource due to unforeseen issues. Requesting jobs to be rescheduled by a production planner can be a cumbersome and time-consuming process. Allowing a production worker to select a different resource from the Start job screen on the Production floor execution interface would provide a more efficient and leaner manufacturing process for these scenarios. Ideally the resources would be selected from a drop-down menu listing resources with similar capabilities or belonging to the same resource group.
