I have this issue with the counting through mobile device.
I count the following license plate:
I have no problem, but physically I found on that license plate another item. So I try to add this item to the same license plate but I have the following error message: "The license plate has already been counted"
Is it possible to add to a license plate already counted another item?
I try also to add it at the end of the procedure (“Add new LP or item?”) but I have the same error:

Agree this is a major flaw in the cycle count design. Just because you happen to find a new item does not mean it is or should be on a new license plate. We are facing the same issues in our current project and it looks like we will be doing an extension to fix this issue that should work out of the box....

If D365 allows multiple items on a license plate and you are not able to spot count multiple items onto the same license plate that sounds more like a bug. Regardless this really needs to be included functionality because it does not reflect the reality of the inventory that you are trying to count if you have to create a new license plate for a new item or a new batch when it is all physically sitting on the same license plate.
