Hi Team,

As we can see that Microsoft allows you to make changes to a PO even after being confirmed unless a workflow is defined.

Requesting for sharing the idea that any changes on a Purchase order shall be made only when the PO status is Draft and not later on. If changes are required, user can always do a request change and bring changes to PO with a request change by bringing the PO to Draft status.

This way latest PO confirmations and changes can also be kept, and Purchase orders will not be of difference in Purchase order, PO confirmations and PO Product receipt.

Thank you,

We appreciate you taking the time to create this input. Changes made to a purchase order will put the PO back into approved state (without WF) or Draft (with WF). However in both cases re-confirmation will be required if the changes are approved in order for the product receipt and vendor invoice processes to complete. Meaning that there will be no discrepencies. We understand that the kind of control you require sounds more restrictive than what is currently supported. While we do not have any plans at present to provide the capability requested, we will continue to monitor how much in demand such a capability is.
