On an On-Premise environment the team member license has much more functionality than Online.
Specific case scenario is, that a Team Member user within an On-Premise environment can generate an invoice from ProForma.
Within the Online environment codeunit 9003 in Base Application is blocking said functionality.
I understand this situation completely. The only problem with this situation is that from license perspective it is much more difficult for the Partner to convince their customers to go to the Microsoft Cloud.
Their customers have very negative impact moving from OnPrem/IaaS to Microsoft SaaS:
• Limited users/ team members can do less. So they need to buy full user license.
• Max database size needs to pay more for additional GB.
• Performance is much more slower than onPrem / IaaS
• At this moment outrage is much more higher than what they have experienced the last years.
