Microsoft just added to release 21.0 warnings to Bank Reciliation test report called Bank Account Statement. Report 1408 - Bank Acc. Recon.
the warning is: Warning! Bank reconciliation might not be possible because there are direct posting entries. For more information, see https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/? I was told that this message goes back to the beginning of time when customer uses Business Central. when customer first start using BC, beginning balances are entered so the GL bank accounts will always have entries that do not the subledger. this is how you put your history into the database. This warning should not be applicable and should not be on the report.
if you are going to add a warning like this, it should be set up in My Notifications or somewhere like that so users do no need to see it every single time they print/preview the report. -

Hello, we had the same problem. From October onwards, the warning message appears and it does not add any value because during the reporting period, there are no direct postings to the bank accounts (only Go Live transactions from the past). Logically we need to see a warning message regarding the reference month only in order to take action. Thank you.
Overall, I'm a little disappointed with Business Central. The majority of the tables are not expandable - to explore and add the necessary columns - only through development. Thanks.
