Sales orders with large amounts of items (example 400-500 lines) with a direct delivery warehouse are created and from this a direct delivery purchase order is created, thus a huge throughput time is involved.
It would be great to introduce a batch job for when you create new Direct deliveries with many records.
An idea could be to create for instance a packing slip from the sales order, there is a “batch” button on the posting form. It can be used in such a way that it also creates the direct delivery form.
A suggestion made that does not meet the requirements.
Use the batch process for creating direct delivery chain afterwards – this requires that on every line the “direct delivery” flag is set. The items in the BOM does not automatically default that flag to the line, a simple customization will be required to bulk update all the lines setting the direct delivery flag.
