The custom field created in the Education/Bank details screen/form via the Personnel Management => employee => select an employee => Bank Details/Education => add a custom field.
The Field created via Personnel Management needs to be available in ESS via personalisation.
=> ESS => Additonal information => Education or ESS => Edit Personal Details => My Payment method => My bank details.
