Active date period for characteristics

Certifications may be active for a certain period of time before they must be renewed. It would be great if date fields could be added to the characteristics entity to be checked by the schedule board assistant and RSO.

Any news on this idea? We have customers asking for this functionality as well. Not just the capability for adding a date, but for it to actually take effect on Universal Resource Scheduling and the Resource Scheduling Optimization.
