Currently at POS when we are returning the item with or without receipt then the exchange is possible only for the cash and carry in the store at POS. However in OMNI channel scenario the customer arrives at the POS for return of item. He is looking to exchange with say different size but since that size is not available he would like that size to be picked from another store. For this scenario in the same transaction we will have to get -ve item for return and +ve item for exchanged item but that exchanged item should be pickup order. This is not allowed today in out of box. Another scenarios is as follows In OMNI channel scenario the customer arrives at the POS for return of item. He is looking to exchange with say different size but since that size is not available in the store neither in another store the cashier would offer that item to be delivered to the customer. For this scenario in the same transaction we will have to get -ve item for return and +ve item for exchanged item but that exchanged item should be shipped. This way cashier has opportunity of not loosing the sale.
