Make it possible to define items that should be auto-added to the cart - with an optional text or similar.
For example - the retailer/e-commerce site owner wants to give away a free gift with every purchase for a limited time. Say like a introduction offer or a special offer when opening a site or during some holiday or similar.
They do not want the customer to have to activly search out this gift item and add it to the cart themselves.
Suggestions:
- A new form or similar on online channel where one can add items. Define period of time and quantity that will be added etc. Maybe even a set for customer group or similar. Will only be in cart if there is at least one other item.
- Define on supplemental items or linked items some form of logic where you have parameters to auto-add to e-commerce carts - with quantity to add, time period, define on customer or similar. Will only be in cart if there is at least one other item.
