Dear Microsoft,

In de windows client the filter pane was always there on every page. Since the web client this is not the case anymore. Many users (and customers) who upgrade to a newer version have this feature taken away from them. This makes the motivation to upgrade and keep using Business Central not better. Certainly, because change is never easy. So, why not make it as smooth as possible and not the other way around.

Suddenly, having the filter pane available on lookup pages and on pages that are being opened with Page.RunModal() or Page.Run() is an extremely useful feature. I'd never thought I would ask for such a feature, but... Could you please implement this?

Thank you for this suggestion! Currently this is not on our roadmap. We are tracking this idea and if it gathers more votes and comments we will consider it in the future. Best regards, Business Central Team

*The title says Page.Run(), but that's not the case. Page.Run() does show the filter pane, but then again we cannot use it as a lookup
