From the posted general ledger entries there is no way to see who approved an entry which makes auditing the transactions very difficult. It is especially hard to find who approved entries done thru a general journal as they are all included into one G/L register which they need to locate first, before going to the posted approval entries. I've had multiple clients get audited and the auditors have asked for a list of G/L entries along with who approved them. Having the approver field added (Whether from a document or journal) would save a lot of time for end users.
