Seems to be by design that outlook client prompt for credentials with a windows integrated mask when accessing documents externally (custom webapplication sso).

When accessing via IE no prompt sso works.

It would be nice when accessing via outlook client no prompt returns or when then forms-based mask and not the windows integrated, this is confusing our customers.

They must authenticate with domain\, this is ridiculous.

Hi, we meet this bug (feature?) long time ago and it is still there! Meanwhile there was a scaring workaround but it ever comes back, like herpes at an often kissed girl! Expecting that using only MS products will protect us for such inconvenience - we get surprised and disappointed. But we still hope that there will be a remedy soon! Kind regards ANR
