There is no reason for the site Entity to not be editable. We can't update or create forms quick view or otherwise. We can't add lookup field to the Site entity and we can't even edit or create views. This has lead to almost everyone abandoning the OOB Site entity or requires them to create a second entity that in essence is a 1:1 but you cant really even create that since you cant have a lookup. The limitation may have been due to old code that should and could be updated now.

For anyone wanting to take advantage of managing resources, calendars, assets, time zone dependencies or any of the native features and rich tools that come with Sites. They have to use bad architecture and deal with the limitations that have been needlessly set.

PLEASE ENABLE THE SITE ENTITY TO BE EDITABLE!!!
