Relevance Search is very powerful and the filter options allow you to find a KB article much easier and more granular, without the need to create various views or the need to enable "Knowledge Search" in the site map.

Here is what should be implemented: when you search for a KB article by using Relevance Search, the users should have the option to preview the article and rate it (the thumbs-up functionality) instead of actually opening the KB article record. With other words, exactly the same functionality as the "Knowledge Search" tab.

Here are the steps when using the Web Client:

1 You start Relevance Search
2 search for a topic
3 filter by KB articles => the list of KB articles is displayed
4 when clicking on any KB article, the preview of the article should be shown on the right iframe, including the options to rate an article (I can gladly provide screenshots - pls contact me)

Current steps:

3 filter by KB articles => the list of KB articles is displayed
4 when clicking on any KB article, the KB article record is opened in the entire window
The problem: here you cannot rate the article by using the "thumbs up" function

Business justification: by enabling this option, chances are much higher to receive more ratings for KB articles. This helps any organization to monitor and improve the quality of the knowledge base and by this to actually help many people to reach more, much faster.
