Some organizations want to send surveys to randomly selected recipients that respresent a certain customer segment. Please make it possible to create a segment or marketing list to which you can add a random sample of contacts from another segment or marketing list.

Thank you for your feedback.

Currently this is not in our roadmap; however, we are tracking it and if we get more feedback and votes, we may consider it in the future.

We would like to learn more on the specific scenario. Perhaps instead of the segment driving the sampling it should be the customer journey automation that could take a random sample of select size / portion of a segment. It may even be desired to send out in phases to random or ordered selections from a segment.

More votes and more details will help us to design best for our customer's demand.

Sincerely,

Christian Abeln, PM,

Microsoft.

This functionality is already available in Outbound Journey builder and should be implemented more or less without modification in Real-time. The current A/B testing allows for only two experiments and does not allow for control groups (sending of nothing).
