Business Central Cloud Version V27

When posting a Recurring General Journal with a posting date outside the Allow Posting From/To date range in General Ledger Setup, Business Central displays:

"There is nothing to post because the document does not contain a quantity or amount."

This message is misleading because the journal contains valid amounts and would post successfully if the posting date were within the allowed range.

Instead, Business Central should display the actual posting-date validation error, such as:

"The posting date is not within your range of allowed posting dates."

This would reduce troubleshooting time and help users resolve the root cause immediately rather than investigating journal amounts and quantities that are not actually the problem.
