The Dynamics 365 Business Central connector actually does not support using managed identities when used with Azure Logic Apps.

You can configure and setup the managed identity on the connector, but when you trigger the flow you will have a permission error.

More info here:

Could be useful to have the support for managed identities added to the connector is order to improve the security of pro-level workflows created with Azure Logic Apps.

Thanks StefanoAs well as security and ease of management, the solution will also save on an expensive license cost for integration. Using HTTP as an alternative will not provide event subscriptions through the API, having the managed identity as a solution will provide a modern Entra approach for handling BC integration.
