Currently emails can be regarding account, lead and contact.
When emails are sent regarding one of these supported tables we have the option to follow the email.
There are columns on the table such as "Do not Follow" for GDPR compliance.

It would be great if we could configure a custom table to support email and customer engagement to get email tracking. Like other table level configs by enabling this , Microsoft could automatically add the columns and functionality to support this.
